This course is designed for orthopaedic educators, residency program directors, instructional course chairs, and other orthopaedic surgeons responsible for resident education. Interactive sessions, lectures and problem-solving exercises give you the tools to facilitate resident learning, evaluate resident and program goals and problems, and address important considerations in academic faculty career development. • Evaluate the current effectiveness of your own teaching practices
• Clearly communicate educational concepts and proposals to learners, peers, and leaders
• Help you analyze and develop your own career as an orthopaedic educator
• Contribute to the ability of your residency program to comply with ACGME guidelines
