EUMS - European Mechanical Circulatory Support Summit 2011

It is a great pleasure to welcome you to ‘the 6th european circulatory support summit’ from november 30th - December 3rd, at the eurosites George v, Paris. Given the success of the first 5 editions, our principal goals for the event are to once more facilitate presentations from leading experts as well as encourage interactive discussions in a convivial dynamic.

Acute heart failure is one of the topic which we decided to treat every other year. ECMO became a worldwide first line circulatory support for emergent patients and full sessions are dedicated to this topic. moreover, other short term circulatory support are integrated to the discussion. sharing experience with intensivists will help to get a better understanding on how to manage these patients.
