National Book Fair & Bangkok International Book Fair 2012

The Bangkok International Book Fair is not only the most dynamic fair, but it is also the hub of book markets in South East Asia. We welcomed approximately 1.6 million participants & 412 exhibitors from 18 countries in 2011. Total sale revenue had reduced from last year at the rate 6.9 per cent because of the world economic crisis. However, the children’s books and the young adult books are still popular among readers. The bestsellers of youth books is fiction, novels and cartoons, whilst working people are showing a substantial level of interest in books about applied dharma principles and self-development.
