National Book Fair & Bangkok International Book Fair 2011

The Bangkok International Book Fair is not only the most dynamic fair, but it is also the hub of book markets in South East Asia. We welcomed approximately 1.5 million participants & 423 exhibitors from 19 countries in 2010. Total sale revenue had reduced from last year at the rate 15.6 per cent because of the world economic crisis. However, the children's books and the young adult books are still popular among readers. The bestsellers of youth books is fiction, novels and cartoons, whilst working people are showing a substantial level of interest in books about applied dharma principles and self-development.
