The 4th TransOman Conference will take place on 15 – 16 April 2013 at the Al Bustan Palace, A Ritz Carlton Hotel, Muscat, under the theme “Oman: Developing Strategies to Enhance Connectivity Through Multimodal Transport System”. • The conference was Inaugurated by H.E. Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Salim Al Futaisi, Minister of Transport & Communication, Oman
• Attended by more than 250 attendees, including 30 senior level government officials, diplomats and CEO’s from the private sector
• Rashid Bin Mohammed Al-Kiyumi, Director General of Marine Affairs – delivered a keynote presentation on behalf of the Ministry of Transport & Communications of on the “Oman’s Maritime Agenda: 2012 & Beyond
• Country’s top industry CEO’s presented the latest infrastructure developments and future plans that will benefit the transport and logistics sector in the Sultanate and attract foreign investments
