Egystitch 2010

The first edition of Egystitch was held in Alexandria and turned out to be a great success; which was clear from exhibitor’s satisfaction and the high traffic of visitors. Alexandria is also considered the second largest city in Egypt, which extends about 32 km along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. Alexandria is also an important tourist resort with its attractions such as the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and its perfect climate.

Alexandria is in close destination to industrial areas like Al – Amriya and Borg Al Arab; which is translated to approximately 1,500 factories in the textile industry scattered between Alexandria and the other districts. Also, visitors from Mahalla are expected visitors due to the close destination. Alexandria and its districts have also attracted a lot of foreign investments in the textile industry, especially from Turkey.

Last Edition was held in El Mahalla El Kubra one of the largest industrial cities in Egypt and also known for its dominant textile industry.
