The Biennale Board approved several new features for the next Venice Film Festival, directed by Alberto Barbera: Biennale College - Cinema, a workshop open to young filmmakers from around the world, for the production of low-budget films. Light Market, a new structure as an actual Market, in its earliest phases. Urban renewal of the area dedicated to the Festival, and renovation of the spaces. New Regulations.
