Southern States Alternative Investment Symposium - SSAIS 2013
conférences > Banking, Finance conférences > Southern States Alternative Investment Symposium - SSAIS
March 3 - 6, 2013
Birmingham MI , Etats-Unis d’Amérique
Born out of the incredibly successful Alternative Investment Roundup that the executives at SSBC designed, developed and ran each February in Arizona from 1997 through 2008, this event brings some of the country’s (if not the world’s) leading Plan Sponsors, Institutional Investors and Alternative Investment professionals to the South.
Designed primarily for Institutional Investors, Plan Sponsors, Endowments and Foundations based in the South, SSAIS 2013 provides an educational and networking environment that will provide attendees and sponsors alike with the kind of information and contacts they need to succeed.
As a past Trustee and Chair of the Alternative Investment Committee at LACERS I am exceedingly familiar with the risks, rewards and trade-offs of investing in Alternatives. Today, more than ever, it is vital that as CIO's Investment Officers and Trustees, we fully understand the evolving Alternative space as we confront issues such as:
• The Evolving Relationship Between General & Limited Partners in Today's Institutional Marketplace
• What Constitutes Alternative Investing in Today’s Capital Markets?
• Best Practices in Building and Structuring an Alternatives Portfolio
• Developing, Structuring & Managing Direct Investment Programs
• Finding Truly Non-Correlated Return Streams as Hedge Funds Continue to Blur the Lines
• Accessing the Best Performing Funds
• The Outlook for Realizations Based Upon the Outlook for Current and Future Liquidity
• The Role of Secondary Interests in PE Portfolios
• Which Alternative Asset Classes Should Produce the Best Returns Over the Next 5 Years
