The Los Angeles Black Book Expo will be held this year on Saturday, August 11 inside the L.A. Convention Center (Rooms 401 -404) with exhibitors meeting in the main Concourse, Room 403.
At the present time, our hours will be 12:00 Noon - 6:00 P.M. for the expo. No plans for future contests or special post-LABBX events at the center are scheduled as of yet. The LABBX staff and Executive Circle will update the website with a schedule for August 11 as time warrants. In the meantime, we invite you to take a look at our pre-expo events on our Related Events page.
As always, LABBX is free to attend. We look forward to your visit.
The L.A.Black Book Expo is back this year with authors, readers, celebrities, youth, fun and camaraderie together in an exciting way. This year, we will hold our literary festival inside the L.A. Convention Center. We hope you'll join us again on August 11, 2012! Free admission.
The Los Angeles Black Book Expo is a community-based organization founded in 2004 to advance African world community, literary and spoken word activity. We are governed by an executive circle and administered by an executive director.
