KITF is the leading event for the travel and tourism industry in Kazakhstan and Central Asia. It is recommended by the UNWTO and is officially supported by the Ministry of Tourism & Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

More about Kazakhstan’s tourism industry
Kazakhstan is the ninth largest country in the world. It has been a full member of UNWTO since 1993. Currently, there are 1,000 tourism agencies in Kazakhstan, with international partners from 80 countries.

Kazakhstan’s travel industry has seen huge growth over the last few years, and in 2009, the country’s inbound tourism grew by 8%, whilst outbound tourism saw a 23% increase - a total of 3,687,000 travellers.
