ASEAN & Asia Forum 2011

ASEAN and Asia Forum (AAF) is an annual regional conference organized by the Singapore Institute of International Affairs, the oldest and only independent think tank in Singapore. The forum is expected to host up to 400 participants consisting of experts, thought leaders, business professionals, government officials and academia.
Each year, we aim to position AAF as a flagship event for Singapore, focusing on pressing issues within ASEAN and Asia which are pertinent to the business community. The forum offers thought-provoking sessions and debates with regional experts as well as networking opportunities with political and business leaders. The forum will be of great value to those companies which are interested in regional business and the underlying politics and economic policies in ASEAN and Asia.
This year, we will have two panels focusing on energy, the environment and the economy, which we expect will be quite exciting, as well as panels on business, trade and the wider outlook for ASEAN nations. Leading keynote speakers will be present to speak at the forum including Mr. Charles Ormiston, Chairman of SE Asia, Bain & Company, Mr. Tony Fernandes, CEO, AirAsia and Mr. Muhamad Noor Yacob, Executive Director, APEC Secretariat.
