CTO Forum & Council Meeting 2011

The CTO Forum is a constitutionally mandated event of the CTO held just prior to the CTO Council meeting and is attended by all the Council delegates, including a number of Ministers and regulators of Telecommunications/ICTs. Synonymous with the theme of Digital Commonwealth, the conference is aimed at sharing the experiences of several developed Commonwealth countries such as the UK (implementation) and Australia (National Broadband Networks through Public Private Partnerships) with the developing countries of the Commonwealth. The conference focuses on building capacity to create enabling policy and regulatory frameworks, leveraging broadband for governance and commerce and identifying business opportunities.
