UBM Canon Japan is greatly saddened by the natural disasters that have occurred in the northeast of Japan and our thoughts are with the victims, the injured and their families.
After careful consideration of the current circumstances we have decided to postpone the holding of DesignMED JAPAN until June 29/30 2011.
We have taken into account that as the major international meeting place for the medical device industry in Japan, our international friends and colleagues from over 27 countries are impeded by travel restrictions. We have also taken into account that the medical industry in Japan is responding to the emergency and needs to be allowed and encouraged to do so without distraction.
