The only Spanish event recognised by the International Organization of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers (OICA).Automotive brands love the Barcelona show, as demonstrated by the launch of numerous new models, including the prototype of the future Audi Q3 which is to be built at the SEAT plant in Martorell (Barcelona).
Another highlight was the global launch of five new models: the Ibiza FR, the Leon Cupra 2009 and the Ibiza Bocanegra range from SEAT; the Opel Insígnia OPC; and the Fiat Barbie 500.
Other brands such as Dacia, Nissan, Land Rover, Mercedes and Tata Motors held their European launches at the event, and finally there were 50 Spanish launches of new vehicles.
