Clinical Advances in Cystic Fibrosis has been carefully designed to provide participants with updates on the current issues and latest developments in the diagnosis and treatment of cystic fibrosis (CF).
It will provide an excellent opportunity for specialists and trainees in respiratory medicine, paediatrics, gastroenterology, dietetics and physiotherapy, as well as general practitioners and specialist nurses, to update and extend their knowledge.

• KEYNOTE ADDRESS: Recent advances in cystic fibrosis research and promising new treatments
• Newborn screening of cystic fibrosis and advice on supporting the child and family following diagnosis
• New, atypical and treatment-resistant pathogens: current and new antibiotics
• Advice on respiratory exacerbations, airway clearance devices, and lung transplantation
• Treatment options for complications of cystic fibrosis including diabetes, bone disorders, gastointestinal, liver and ENT problems
• Guidance on optimal exercise therapies, nutritional management and adherence to treatments
• Case studies on management of respiratory exacerbations, pregnancy in CF and end-stage CF, discussed by panels of multidisciplinary experts
