Solar energy generation is becoming a topic of global importance as nations around the world seek environmentally conscious and self-sufficient methods for addressing their energy needs. In recognition of this, a conference discussing the future of photovoltaic (solar cell) technology will take place in Tokyo in autumn 2010.
The three day conference will bring a unique mixture of world scientists and industry leaders in the field of solar cells to discuss the future opportunities and challenges for various photovoltaic technologies in meeting the energy needs of the 21st century.
