The Zero Waste Summit 2010 builds on the success from the inaugural summit in November / December 2009. During the Summit a capacity audience was treated to a full programme featuring representation from: Federal and local governments / waste and recycling industries / international keynotes / private sector case studies / NGO’s / industry commentators / panel discussions. Key topics / initiatives & new technologies were presented providing critical information on the opportunities and challenges the Australian waste and recycling industry faces.
Having conducted a very detailed online post Summit evaluation survey, 62% of the attending delegates expressed keys areas of interest in incorporating a responsible, closed loop and sustainable solution in resource recovery into their organisation. This information has been applied into the construction of the 2010 summit and will offer future delegates the most comprehensive, practical and beneficial programme in Zero Waste management in Australia.
