International Conference on Oil Palm Biomass - ICOPB 2010

The first Oil Palm Biomass Conference (ICOPB) was successfully organized in August 2008 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with over 280 delegates from 17 countries. The conference was officially opened by Honorable Senator A. Kohilan Pillay, Deputy Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities of Malaysia.
ICOPB 2010 will focus on the commercialization of Oil Palm Biomass with reviews on some successful projects, feature the experience of such business ventures, as well as table the latest findings on further improvement to the available technologies to maximize economic returns.

ICOPB 2010 will also include a mini exhibition for sponsors & some selected companies showcasing oil palm biomass products, latest technologies for conversion of oil palm biomass and other services and equipment related to the oil palm industry. A optional field trip on the third day is also organized for conference delegates to visit an oil palm biomass conversion plant producing palm briquette & pellet.
