Basra Oil and Gas Conference & Exhibition 2010

International Basra Oil and Gas Conference & Exhibition 2010 will take its place as the first and foremost gas and oil exhibition of the region between 25 – 28 November 2010. It will have official support from Iraq Government. Related governmental body will be invited to the events and dialogues with company executives.

To remind you, Iraq has the worlds third largest oil reserves estimated to be more than 360 billion barrels, and most of it from Basra (71 % of all Iraqi reserves). Moreover, 80% of these reserves are unexplored. According to the Oil and Gas Journal, Iraq’s proven natural gas reserves are 112 trillion cubic feet (Tcf). An estimated 70 percent of these lie in Basra governorate in the south of Iraq.

There is no alternative for this event in the region. Therefore, interest from the industry will be immense. This event will be the perfect platform to meet all professionals and the companies in the industry.
