SMAG Conference & Exhibition 2010

The ACI EUROPE Small and Medium Size Airports Action Group was created in June 2006 to address the specific needs of the small and medium size regular Members of 

ACI EUROPE.

SMAG is intended to provide a platform for small and medium sized airports to exchange knowledge, share best practices and discuss issues of common interest. SMAG is also intended to allow ACI EUROPE to get an in-depth knowledge of the issues and interests specific to small and medium sized airports, so as to allow for better representation of these interests when lobbying the EU institutions. Conversely, SMAG should allow small and medium sized airports to get information about EU affairs, as well as access the EU institutions.

SMAG is open to all regular Members managing airports with less than five million Traffic Units (this threshold is indicative) and  this group is not subject to ACI EUROPE Committee Rules. Currently some 145 airports are members of the group.
