World Conference on Disaster Management (WCDM) 2012

The 2012 WCDM will focus on the vulnerability of supply chains and "just-in-time inventories" to disasters in other parts the world and how organizations with interests in the international markets need to be prepared for events far beyond their own turf.

In addition the on-going economic crisis is causing many organizations in both public and private sectors to significantly reduce their budgets and resources dedicated to emergency management and business continuity programs. The 2012 WCDM conference program will include many sessions that will help practitioners do more with less and how innovation can compensate for lack of money and resources.
