International Business Initiative - EBi Trade Expo 2011

The EBI Business to Business Initiative was established by Chris van Biljon and 12 other business associates in Benoni on the 15th February 2001. He had a vision to create a forum for the small, medium and corporate businesses, to rub shoulders with each other, to communicate and to be linked, do business and to grow and prosper. Also to enhance local economic development between Ekurhuleni and other parts of the country and abroad.

Initially the EBI held meetings on Monday evenings. The EBI now operates in the following areas: Highveld, Bloemfontein, Ekurhuleni, West Rand, Fourways, Tshwane and Heidelberg. Meetings are now being held on a daily basis at different venues.

Next year EBI Business will celebrate its 10th anniversary at Emperors Palace. The 2011 Business Trade Expo will offer 100 stands for businesses to participate and expose their products and services.

The following Industry sectors will be part of the Expo: Manufacturing, hospitality, exports, transport, travel, franchise opportunities, motor industry, IT, telecommunications, local governments and various other business opportunities. Businesses are invited to join the EBI Business initiatives and also to be part of the 10th year celebrations at Emperors Palace during March 2011.
