3rd annual Airport Development Summit 2010

Australia’s network of airports is a key element to the national economic infrastructure, securing trade, employment and tourism to many remote and regional areas. Privatisation of these airports has led to accelerated investment in development and despite current economic frailties further major investments are planned to meet expected growth. Increasingly, airports are seeking to find non-aeronautical revenue sources to supplement the rise in fuel prices and the possible future down turn in aviation travel.
