Based on the concept of showcasing the latest technology connecting people and cars, the Automotive Engineering Exposition has gradually expanded in scale every year since it was first held in 1992 as an exhibition of vehicle technology for engineers and researchers working on the front line of the automotive industry.

In March 2011, Japan was rocked by a major earthquake and tsunami that struck the east coast of Tohoku. Although many automotive-related businesses were badly affected, we decided to go ahead with the 20th Exposition in May of the same year as a demonstration of the determination of the whole industry to lead the recovery. As a result, we welcomed 377 companies (833 booths) and attendance reached 52,308. With its very existence in doubt, this result was a reminder of the significance of the Exposition as Japan’s only large-scale comprehensive technological exhibition. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the companies that set up exhibitions, everyone who visited the event, and all those who helped the Exposition to go ahead

The Automotive Engineering Exposition provides an ideal opportunity to exhibit your company’s latest technology and to carry out meaningful exchanges of ideas with engineers throughout the automotive industry. We would be delighted to see you there.
