Infrastructure Partnerships for African Development (iPAD) DRC 2009

The 5th annual Infrastructure Partnerships for African Development (iPAD) DRC Conference and Exhibition takes place from 6 – 8 October 2008 in Kinshasa, DRC. Typically attracting over 600 local and international participants, the event aims to facilitate sound investment in, and collaboration on, the reconstruction of the DRC. Delegates will get the opportunity to engage closely with the right contacts for business and investment in the DRC – including senior government officials and extractive industries executives, both public and private – and receive accurate, in-depth, up-to-date information about the opportunities of doing business in the DRC. iPAD DRC was launched in 2005 and has become an integral part of the reconstruction of the DRC. In 2006, iPAD took place between the elections and the run-off elections and grew in size and stature in 2007, one year into the DRC’s democratic dispensation. 2008 saw yet another successful gathering of government, national and international investors, diplomats and consultants, proving that iPAD DRC provides a necessary opportunity for dialogue and the ‘workshopping’ of ideas to improve the business climate in the DRC. iPAD DRC 2009 provides an opportunity to network directly with key partners in the DRC and Central African region. The event aims to facilitate sound investment and collaboration in the reconstruction of the DRC: collaboration under one roof between government, the public sector and business. iPAD DRC 2009 is the only international business-to-business forum for trade and investment in the DRC.
