FONDS - Switzerland's Financial Exhibition 2010

Between February 4 and 6, 2009, 8300 investors took the opportunity to learn more about the market outlook and fund products at Switzerland's largest financial fair at the Kongresshaus Zurich. «Meet the Manager» was the motto of the first ever qualified investors' day. The opportunity to put questions to approximately 100 fund managers at the exhibition booths proved very popular among qualified investors. Given the unstable stock market environment, the roundtable discussion on the outlook for 2009 was also a crowdpuller. The supporting program, with events focusing on commodities and retirement planning/pension plans also attracted many visitors. So did the seminars offered by independent financial expert Giuseppe Botti as well as the questions and answers session on the financial market crisis with trade fair visitors. The fair closed with Hans Eichel, former Finance Minister of Germany, and Hans Kaufmann, economic advisor and member of the Swiss National Council, locking horns over the implications of the financial crisis and the tax dispute between Germany and Switzerland. FONDS'10 will take place at the Kongresshaus Zurich from February 3 to 5, 2010.
