PARTC Annual Meeting 2014
October 1 - 2, 2014
Pretoria , Sudáfrica
At the PARTC Annual Meeting we will examine the challenges that African refineries face while coping with restructuring and upgrading needs, fuel quality and emission requirements and new technologies and processes to assist with these challenges. We will also explore the opportunities within the region and provide an understanding of the latest trends and enable the sharing of best practice among industry peers.
Agenda topics will include:
The role of the African region in international trade and flow markets
What does the future hold for investment in refining in Africa?
Case studies: KHALDA, ARAMCO, SASOL and ENGEN with others still to be confirmed
Plus, technical presentations from leading industry experts including:
Corrosion management technologies
Enhanced shutdown and turnaround management processes
Optimising use of existing catalysts through innovative solutions
Technology improvements to increase refinery profitability
Improving in-house training to maximise the quality of staff
Low temperature isomerisation technologies in revamp and grass roots units
Results from hydrocracker unit gap analysis studies
