Every year the IAF together with the International Academy of Astronautics (IAA) and the International Institute of Space Law (IISL), holds the International Astronautical Congress (IAC).
RECORD OF ATTENDANCE
More than 1800 scientists and 250 accompanying persons registered already! They come from more than 50 different countries all over the world.
The IAC is the most important annual interdisiplinary meeting worldwide with 3000 participants from over 70 countries including representatives from the space industry, space agencies, policy makers, students, young professionals, researchers and academicians. It provides a crossroad uniting all the world's space players in all space related activities.
The IAC 2012 exhibition will be located in 3 of the pavilions of the Mostra d'Oltremare, the largest exhibition area in the Campania region and the second in southern Italy. The multi-functional complex (73,000 sqm) including an exhibition area and a natural park is situated in the western part of Naples.
