Industrial Pumps Valves & Systems Fair (IPVS 2010)
December 9 - 11, 2010
Madrás , India
The Indian pump manufacturers have an added advantage in catering to the global market needs. As they have proved themselves on the quality front, the Indian pump industry has been given global recognition. This has been further consolidated by the fact that India has successfully hosted world-class exhibitions for Industrial Pumps, Valves and Systems.
With its third successive hosting, IPVS - organized by Orbitz Exhibitions Pvt. Ltd. - has clearly emerged as India’s biggest event for Industrial Pumps, Valves and Systems and one of the biggest in Asia. After having been credited as the first of its kind in India, it has since inception, provided the much needed boost for growth of the sectors it represents as it showcases advanced technologies in those categories.
IPVS 2009 was held recently between 29th & 31st October at Mumbai. It was inaugurated by
Mr. Krishna Kumar, President of IPMA. It had delegates from India and abroad comprising professionals from diverse sectors like power, oil exploration, pharmaceuticals, energy resources, fertilizers, health & hygiene products and the like.
Riding on the success of its predecessor, IPVS 2009 was bigger, more incisive and impressive. Many of its earlier exhibitors had booked larger pavilions compared to last year. With close to 100 exhibitors of which 10 % were from overseas, there were over 3000 high net worth visitors including delegations from Germany, China etc. Major Indian manufacturers of Industrial Pumps, Valves and Process Systems, like Kirloskar Brothers, Five Bro and BDK , to name just a few, collectively presented a comprehensive range of 1000-plus products on a single platform. One striking observation was that the exhibits of valves outnumbered pumps and systems.
