DATE confirms its worldwide leadership in the field of hardware and software design, test, and manufacturing of electronic circuits and systems. It received well over 1,000 submissions, representing a 6% increase over the very successful DATE 2012 edition. Erik Jan Marinissen, Principal Scientist at IMEC and DATE 2013 Program Chair adds: "The bulk of the submission growth is in our Design Track, which always has been DATE's largest track. The Americas and Asia-Pacific account for resp. 30% and 19% of our submissions, emphasizing the global nature of DATE. Currently, the submissions are in our competitive peer-review process and soon we will know which submissions have made it into the DATE program".
