The Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE) is Australia's premier tourism trade event and the largest international travel trade show of its kind in the southern hemisphere. The event is organised by Tourism Australia and will return to Sydney in 2011, having last been hosted there in 2000. The event will be held at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour from Saturday 2 - Friday 8 April 2011.

Buyer is the term given to retail and wholesale travel companies in overseas markets or representing overseas markets that are invited by Tourism Australia to attend ATE. Buyers may also be international Product Representation Companies.
