LFW - The Exhibition at London Fashion Week 2010

Showcasing 200 of the industry’s most creative UK and international brands , the BFC aims for the exhibition to mirror the energy on the catwalk and presentation schedules and to help with trends, product selection and positioning. The BFC has worked with buying representatives including former buyer for Browns and Harvey Nichols, Bev Malik, to provide a fresh approach that sees a focus on niche product at an accessible price point.
As part of this fresh approach, the exhibition housed collectives that recognise the strength of design in key product areas including; the Hat Collective (Headonism) featuring emerging British milliners, curated by Stephen Jones, The Lingerie Boudoir, a collective of over 15 lingerie designers, a floating T-shirt island, a dedicated ‘beach’ area and a selection of Australian and Scandinavian brands that represent this new offering.
