HO.RE.CA. - Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Exhibition 2011

Despite the economic downturn, tens of thousands of professionals flooded the halls of the 5th HO.RE.CA. from 22 to 25 January 2010, reaffirming its leading position in the conscience of hotel and catering industry entrepreneurs.

Unique in its design and structure for greek standards, HO.RE.CA. has demonstrated that the thoroughly organised trade shows can be a strong antidote in periods of crisis, such as the one we’re currently going through. Thanks to its innovative planning, the huge advertising campaign and its overall quality, HO.RE.CA. has amazed everyone breaking every visitors’ turnout record! The show’s dynamics have proved wrong all those who try to create a climate of panic and pessimism within the market of tourism foreseeing a prescribed recession. The tourism sector is vigorously resisting, investing and viewing with optimism the future. And this has probably been the greatest success of the trade show: During the 5th HO.RE.CA., the heart of the tourist industry was beating hard disproving the “Cassandras” who wanted the wider touristic sector frightened and frozen due to the deteriorating economic crisis! Greek professionals coming from all the HO.RE.CA. sectors filled every square meter of the exhibition centre  halls proving how familiar they feel with the HO.RE.CA. trade show. The standards have been set higher and new challenges come  up at the prospect of another successful organisation. Hence, 6th HORECA will take place from 21st to 24th January 2011 at the same exhibition centre bringing together even more representatives of the supplying market as well as professional visitors!
