Oriental Institute of Technology traces its roots back to 1968, when the Oriental Academy of Industrial Technology was established. Mr. Yu-Ziang Hsu, the founder of Far Eastern Textile Group, aimed to meet the need of the economic growth nationwide, presented his version of a school based on the spirit of “Broaden Knowledge, Appreciate Virtue, Cultivate Talents, and Prosper Nation”.
