Wiener Stadthalle

The Wiener Stadthalle is Austria’s largest event center with top stars,
guest appearances by the most famous international entertainers and a
multitude of events like nowhere else in central Europe. There is not
one megastar of the past few years who has not appeared in the Wiener
Stadthalle and all renowned artists and stars of the international
music rankings come here.





Some events are so popular that they are basically sold out within a
few hours. The reason for this is not only the stars but also the
Wiener Stadthalle itself. It combines a central location, outstanding
technology and stage flexibility and the largest capacity of any hall
within several 100 kilometers. Hall D has a capacity of up to 17,000
people. At 50 years, it  is one of the oldest and most-used halls in
Europe, while remaining one of the most attractive halls with
outstanding acoustics.


 


The Wiener Stadthalle is constantly adjusting. The home page has a new
design with multientertainment, streaming videos and short clips,
current information and background stories on the stars and an
automated ticket service via internet. 





Each year, around 350 events take place; roughly one per working day
and the number is increasing. Additionally there are incredible
open-air concerts in the Happel Stadion, which is also managed by the
Wiener Stadthalle. Finally, the new hall F is a highly modern and
stylish hall, holding an additional 2,200 people and is open all year
round. Events include show, cabaret, theater, distinguished musical
performances and musicals. 





Over 55 million fans have already visited the Wiener Stadthalle,
approximately eight times the population of Austria. Each year over one
million more come here. In the surrounding area a music scene worth
envying has settled. The DJs under the Guertelboegen are some of the
best and hippest of what Europe currently has to offer
