Who Does She Think She Is? Film Screening 2015

In a half-changed world, women often feel the need to choose between mothering or working, their children’s well-being or their own. Academy Award-winning filmmaker Pamela Tanner Boll features five women who refuse to choose in the documentary film, Who Does She Think She Is?, screening September 12th at 2:00 p.m. at the Nextdoor Theater in Winchester, MA. Through their lives, the film explores some of the most problematic intersections of our time: mothering and creativity, partnering and independence, economics and art. The film invites the audience to consider both ancient legacies of women worshipped as cultural muses and more modern times, where most people can’t even name a handful of female artists.
