A panel on the Sociology in the Anthropogenic Period 2015

The Sociology Research Unit of the Athens Institute for Education and Research (ATINER) organizes A panel on the Sociology in the Anthropogenic Period: Dealing with Global Environmental Change, 4-7 May 2015, Athens, Greece as part of the 9th Annual International Conference on Sociology. The aim of the conference is to bring together scholars and students from all areas of Sociology of the environment, Sociology of global environmental change, Climate change, Research of global environmental change, Socio-environmental relationships, Epistemological approaches to global environmental change and other related fields. Theoretical and empirical research papers will be considered.

Special arrangements will be made with a local luxury hotel for a limited number of rooms at a special conference rate. In addition, a number of special events will be organized: A Greek night of entertainment with dinner, a special one-day cruise to selected Greek islands, an archaeological tour of Athens and a one-day visit to Delphi.
