How to design a house or a flat? What is an ideal garden like? How to make it a comfortable retreat, a cosy nest and a functional area at the same time. The Targi Kielce’s annual exhibitions - DOM and OGRÓD I TY offer answers to these questions. 200 exhibitors from home and abroad set up their exhibition stands in order to present their extensive offer.
It comes and no surprise that DOM expo is one of the most popular exhibitions among inhabitants of Kielce and the neighbouring regions. This event attracts more than 20,000 visitors who want to become familiar with the building sector’s comprehensive offer, consult experts on internal design and be advised by architects. DOM expo is targeted at all those who want to make a home-make over or to find inspiration and discover new trends in flat renovation. This is one of the business sector largest exhibitions as it offers a whole range of interior design elements and furnishings, construction and finishing materials.
The programme of the DOM trade fair also encompassed an open seminar focused on the European Parliament and the Council Regulation which specifies the conditions and rules for the construction products put on the market. The meeting addressed the regulations based upon the European Union laws as well as future amendments to the Polish Construction Product Act; these have been designed to provide more detailed national regulations and to harmonise the domestic legal system with the EU directives. One of the most important novelties stipulated in the regulations is the CE marking as this will be the only label to be used in the common market for the products made under the harmonised EU standard or European technical approval. It is also very important for the consumers; the new regulations’ objective is to guarantee the product compliance with their technical and functional descriptions.
