Adolescent Health Care 2012

This conference will enable the experienced clinician to better:

- Examine challenges and controversies related to contraceptive management for adolescents.
- Explore clinical management of a variety of common and complex adolescent conditions including sleep disorders, GI complaints, STDs, syncope, obesity, unplanned pregnancy, skin conditions, sports injuries, substance abuse, and GYN problems.
- Describe the various aspects of cyberbullying and identify interventions for mitigating its effects on adolescents.
- Discuss adolescent sexual health from a developmental perspective, highlighting strategies for improving communication and reducing risk-taking behaviors.
- Develop office-based prevention and counseling strategies which improve the health and psychosocial well-being of adolescents.
