Aircraft Engine World China Summit 2011

Aircraft engine has evolved into extremely complex high-tech systems and is regarded as the brightest jewel in the crown of modern industries. However, continuous design improvement, material and engineering technology innovations are still required to comply with ever increasing environmental and economic requirements.

China unveils its model of Chinese-built SF-A engine in 2009, developed by Shanghai-based AVIC Commercial Aircraft Engines (ACAE), and is scheduled for certification in 2016, and to make the first delievery in 2020. However, there are huge challenges ahead before China could achieve the goal of integrating a competitive commercial aero-engine. In March 2011, ACAE has announced to start seeking local and foreign partners for the design, manufacturing and testing of parts and systems of the engine programme.

Aircraft Engine World China 2011 will be the optimum and exclusive event for aero-engine professionals to forge new collaborations for engine development in China, share visions and insights of future engine technologies and explore the supply chain practise for engine manufacturing and maintenance from multiple perspectives.
