UBM launches Mumbai Jewellery & Gem Fair 2011

span style="font-weight: 700">UBM the world’s leading organizer of B2B jewellery and gem fairs announced the launch of the Mumbai Jewellery & Gem Fair. The first edition of the show will be held from 9-11 December 2011 at Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai.

This launch is a direct response to the market, who have requested that UBM come into Mumbai with a show for the key buying season at the beginning of the year.

UBM is an international body that globally organizes over 300 shows annually of which 80 are held in Asia .The world’s largest and number one jewellery event - The September Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair is a mega show highly anticipated every year by the world’s jewellery trade. This year’s fair again breaks its own record with 3,205 exhibitors from 45 countries & regions participating and expects more than 40,000 buyers from around the world.

UBM’s strong international presence complements the extensive domestic network and has helped us reach out to the global gem and jewellery industry and promote the potential of Indian jewellery industry as a supplier of global standards.

MJDMA in alliance with UBM India will be organizing the 7th Gem & Jewellery India International Exhibition 2011 at Chennai from 26 – 28 February, 2010. It will continue to be a three day B2B event. This year's edition is designed to provide a platform to exhibitors to launch and showcase their new line of products and designs, enabling domestic and overseas suppliers to meet and interact with key buyers. The event is also expected to see a large number of international pavilions and visitors looking to do business in Chennai and in Southern India as a whole.
