These are challenging times for the social sector. Social problems are increasing but the pool of funds with which to tackle them isn’t.
Impact Investing (investments that deliver social and financial return) has emerged as a way to bridge that gap. It allows For-Purpose organisations to increase their financial sustainability and scale-up their impact.
The field is growing in Australia with the NSW Government launching Australia’s first Social Impact Investment Policy and other governments, like SA and QLD, moving in this direction.
This conference has been designed to help For-Purpose organisations move beyond traditional sources of funding and towards Impact Investing.
