IOC World Conference Prevention of Injury and Illness in Sport is the premier international conference on sport medicine and specifically on prevention of injury and illness in athlete directly organized by the Medical Commission of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
120 leaders in their fields are lined up as speakers while the wide scientific program embraces 5 keynote lectures, 24 Symposia, 34 Workshops, 73 oral communications, 233 poster presentations organized in 27 thematic sessions.
1.000 participants from 60 different countries are expected to come and share their experience in this unique events dedicated to sport professionals.
The congress, for which UEMS credits have been requested, is also followed by a high level sport medicine specialists’ course. The IOC Advanced Team Physician Course (ATPC) is the most important and internationally recognized educational course in sport medicine.
