ALUCAST - International Exhibition and Conference on Aluminium Industry 2012

The aluminium die-casting industry is emerging as one of the fastest growing industries across the world, with applicability ranging from domestic appliances to heavy industry applications. It is predicted that the Auto Industry, which is the largest end-user segment of aluminium die-casting, will continue its dominance based on the significant demand for secondary aluminium and die-castings.

A fall out of the tremendous progress achieved in automobile design and performance in recent years is the continual increase expected of the quality, integrity and strength of parts made from aluminium castings. Auto sector being the largest consumer of aluminium castings, the casting producer is forced to toe the line. In doing so, the die caster needs to optimize the resources available to him, if he is to remain competitive. During the Conference, experts from India and abroad will share with the delegates their ideas as to how best the available resources (identified as the 7 Ms) can be deployed.
