The Agricultural and Livestock Sector: Engine of Growth in Colombia!
Colombia has huge potential for agriculture and livestock. The main activities are focused on winning products such as sugar cane, African oil palm, rice and cereals, beef and dairy cattle, pigs, flowers, bananas, coffee, fruits and vegetables.
In Colombia it is estimated that only 25% of the total land surface is cultivated. There is still great untapped potential in areas such as cereals and sugar cane for energy production, and palm and forest products for biodiesel production.
AGRO DEL PACIFICO 2012 has become THE meeting point in Colombia of the country's most important players in the agriculture industry.
In strategic alliance with the SAG – Society of Farmers and Ranchers, Valle del Cauca chapter – easyFairs has been organising this event annually since 2008. The initial goal was an agricultural show in association with the SAG board. However, due to the show’s high market potential, the show's scope was expanded and an important strategic alliance with Expoagro of Argentina was established.

-Plots: Plots planted with plant technology
-Lots: Handling machinery and vehicles
-Demonstrations in Motion: special land machinery demonstrations.
