Euromat meetings have been held every two years since 1989. These conferences, which are held under the auspices of the Federation of European Materials Societies (FEMS), have become prime events in Europe for a major gathering of academics and industrialists active in Materials Science and Technology.
The Euromat conferences are managed by individual member societies of FEMS, while the Scientific Committee is drawn from across Europe, and coordinated by FEMS.
