A Symposium on World Football (Soccer) Cup 2015

The aim of the conference is to bring together scholars and students of all areas of football world cup including: (1) The Impact of the Football World Cup: Economic, Political, Tourism, Social, Urban Planning, Crime, Ecological and other Aspects (2) Predicting Football World Cup Match Outcomes including which team will win it: Methodologies and Applications (3) Determinants of World Cup Game Results (4) FIFA and other Measures of Football Rankings and (5) Issues on Hosting a World Cup. Selected papers will be considered for publication in a special issue of the Athens Journal of Sports.
