Annual Middle East Conference on Indoor Environmental Quality IEQ 2014

Encouraged by the strong support to the inaugural edition from IEQ stakeholders in the region, the second edition of the conference has a more detailed agenda and more speakers on a broad range of health, well-being and productivity issues, through a ventilation and air conditioning prism.



While the discussions during the inaugural edition, and the subsequent feedback, have informed the drafting of the programme agenda for the 2nd Annual, we have taken into consideration several sub-issues with the aim of broadening the scope of discussion. A case-in point is the gamut of water-related IEQ issues, including the threat of legionella. Another example is acoustics & vibration, where we will be attempting to steer the discussion around the physics of sound and the signifi cant role innovations in HVAC technology can play in minimising noise and vibration in the built environment.



A key area of focus in the 2014 edition is healthcare facilities, and to that effect, it will be our endeavour to engage hospitals and other medical facilities in discussions on challenges faced and key expectations, and thus, build a platform for the sharing of HVAC strategies and answers from technology solutions providers that will be participating in the event.
