The increase in media rich applications such as video and cloud are driving the need for transport network strategies that support such services, while at the same time reducing CapEx and OpEx. Service providers looking to integrate next generation entertainment and communication offerings are faced with limitation in their network capacity, as legacy networks are not built to deal with such demands.

Next Generation Networks must be able to provide scalability, maximise bandwidth resources and provide QoS and security on an end to end basis. Transport Network Strategies (TNS) 2011 will deliver a comprehensive and in-depth coverage of developments in transport networks, standards, architecture and operator deployments. Focusing on the needs of both fixed and mobile operators, TNS offers a unique learning forum and provides an excellent environment for networking and influencing the ecosystem.

Co-located with Carrier Ethernet World Congress (CEWC), the event will be attended by a highly international audience concerned with network optimisation and delivering high quality services. As such this offers an excellent opportunity to meet and network with over 600 senior telecoms professionals at the shared exhibition space. This 2 day conference will start with a plenary session including both audiences (TNS and CEWC), and will make up an expert learning forum discussing the challenges and benefits of new transport technologies, and how to deal with the increasing demands on transport networks following the data explosion.
