Oil & Gas Libya 2013

Following the success of Oil & Gas Libya 2012, plans for the 5th event in this series, Oil & Gas Libya 2013, are set for 22/25 April 2013 at the Tripoli International Fairground.
A new wave of optimism is now prevalent in Libya after the country's new democratically elected Prime Minister, Ali Zeidan, nominated the ministers to form his new government at the beginning of November 2012. The new General National Congress (GNC) will have powers to announce strategic plans for Libya's economic future and to release budgets for public sector spending to modernise the country's oil/gas and infrastructure sectors. This in turn will stimulate private sector growth on an unprecedented scale.

The OIL & GAS LIBYA 2013 conference will allow the Libyan authorities to set out their priorities and requirements for the country’s energy sector, and suppliers of technology and services to recommend solutions. The conference is likely to focus on human capacity building, future technologies, reserves management and protection of the environment.
